Types of furniture and characteristics

Design

FLIPBED: Resting bed.

Design

This furniture mixes the two biggest pieces in a bedroom: the resting bed and the working desk.

It’s multi-functional, designed for a Marketing 20-year-old student, with great features just like a bookshelf, drawers, a pin up magnetic system, wooden hooks to hold and set, and a rotation system to flip the piece in any of the two functions.

It’s a twin bed, made in White Oak, totally resistant and durable.

GRAY MALIN: photography and interiors

Art, Design

His photography makes you want to be there at that place, the moment you see it. So it’s kinda impossible that you wouldn’t want a Gray Malin piece at home.
He has his photography put on fine art photographs, iPhone cases, lamps, vases, wallpapers, pillows, and much more.

Passion: The Gray Malin brand was fostered with a deep passion for photography and interior design. Merging these affections with a spirit for travel and adventure inspired the character of the brand.
Inspiration: Capturing a moment you want to live within, each body of work begins with the end product in mind: one’s walls.
Adventure: Each concept ignites an incredible adventure; traversing the globe to bring inspired visions to life.
Lifestyle: It’s our belief that the journey is more than just a photograph, it’s a shared experience inviting everyone to a jet-set lifestyle and the idea that everyday can be a getaway.” – Gray Malin Facebook

Buoy Intervention Contest: Excellence at it’s best!!

Art, Design

It has always been hard to think I could be able to do something this big…
Actually, I never thought I could get this far on something THAT valuable.
Right now it might seem like just a contest, but in a real future this might mean a lot to my clients and to myself, of course.

The feeling is amazing. Knowing you have achieved something so important; knowing all the effort, stress and pressure was really worth it.
The feeling you get when you finally, for the first time in your life, got to make something to make of yourself SOMEONE.
The feeling you get when it’s not just that you won at A contest, but you won THE contest, ON the first place. I mean, the first contest you win in your life, you win it on the very first place. Whaaat? You better go hard or go home.

At first it was just a contest we HAD to do as an assignment, we just couldn’t not do it. It ended making my parents prouder than ever. My name shining in all the University’s pages. My face on the walls as a UNIBE PRIDE!
A great deal for my portfolio. And the self satisfaction, oh well…
It was all a great great success.
I am so very thankful.

Have a nice day, xx

THE BUOY INTERVENTION CONTEST

Art, Design

Hi guys! This was the second art piece I was talking about.
It was for a contest for the Steelcase company, Ergotec.
It’s about a chair called BUOY, it’s an ottoman that works also as a rocking chair, totally ergonomic. I made the design in honor to one of the best-est and most famous painters here in the Dominican Republic, Candido Bido. I made my own art with his style, tendency and colors.

The winner gets chosen by likes, and gets as the prize the original chair, the selling of copies at the local store and a scholarship.

In the pictures is shown the artistic process.
It was a canvas of 56.52 x 17 inches
